President's Message:

 

Hello and welcome to the 11th season for Bard to Broadway. We thank
you for being a part of the live theatre experience in the Oceanside
area. While we couldn’t have a season without you, there are a number
of people that are also integral to your enjoyment of tonight’s show that
I would like to thank. It takes a large number of people to put together
a single production and we are blessed with a team that puts on three
at the same time.

While there are too many for me to name here please read through the
program when you attend one of our shows and take note of the names and faces you see. These are the people who have given up their spare time in hopes of transporting you for couple of hours to another time and another place. From our production team, to the directors, to the backstage crews and front of house volunteers, to the actors and the B2B board, dozens of people have been working since the end of last season to entertain you for this evening.

I am always amazed at the dedication and skills of all those involved with Bard to Broadway and I am lucky to be able to call them my friends. This really is a family event not only for our patrons but also for all the participants who work hard to keep theatre alive for your enjoyment. If you have ever wondered if you could do what we do, the answer is yes. We are always open to having new people join our society in any capacity they would be comfortable with.
