Gardens & Homes from Qualicum Beach to Nanoose Bay

This year’s tour features spectacular, never before viewed gardens and many stunning homes. Some of the area’s most prominent homes and gardens are located in the Oceanside region that includes Qualicum Beach, Parksville and Nanoose. B2B's fifth annual tour showcases award winning gardens and unusual contemporary and traditional homes that exemplify the creative and original tastes of their owners. Many homeowners will be on hand to answer questions about their homes architecture and landscape design. As always, this tour is a huge success and gets better every year.

Thirteen, never before viewed, homes and gardens will be featured on the Fifth Annual Bard to Broadway and Coast Realty Group Garden and Home tour. Some of the area’s most prominent homes and stunning gardens will be featured in this fundraising tour in support of local theatre. Located in Qualicum Beach, Parksville and Nanoose, all homes can easily be viewed in one day.

The tour will showcase award winning gardens, unusual contemporary and traditional homes, and small cottages that exemplify the creative and original tastes of their owners. Many homeowners will be on hand to answer questions about their homes architecture and landscape design. As always, this tour is a huge success. Homes feature panoramic ocean views and walk-on waterfront as well as beautiful gardens, some that are pruned regularly by local deer and one that is Xeriscape design. Rarely are such incomparable properties open to the public. Here’s a sampling of what to expect on the tour:

• heritage homes or cottages built in the early 1900’s
• homes in the classic modernist style by architects Carsten Jensen and Geoffrey Massey
• an energy efficient, pre-fab home with photovoltaic and thermal solar panels, rainwater harvesting, green roof
• home with a traditional cottage style garden
• home and garden in a stunning setting on Dolphin Lake
• five acre woodland garden on the waterfront
• master suite sanctuary with fireplace, hot tub, infrared sauna, steam shower and walk in closet.
