Classes 9:00am-3:00pm Weekdays July 18-23rd.

For children aged 6-12 years. Singing, acting, dancing, rhythm, improvisation and

FUN! The one-week, all-day camp begins on Monday and concludes with a recital

the following Saturday. A role for everyone! Sessions take place at the Village

Theatre in QB.  $180 + GST

No experience necessary.

JuMP! (Junior Music and Performance) is designed for children and youth aged 6 to 13. The program consists of daily classes in Singing, Choir, Rhythm, Improvisation, Acting, Dancing & FUN! No experience necessary!

Staff

The Bard to Broadway Musical Theatre team is made up of highly qualified and experienced local professional staff. Dance instruction and stage movement will also be provided by a local performer/teacher.

B Ed, Diploma (Music Ed) is assistant coordinator and provides choral instruction. She teaches music at Qualicum Beach Elementary School and is coordinator and conductor of the District 69 Youth Choir.

Miranda Atkinson

Miranda Atkinson is looking forward to her first summer as the new music theatre teacher for Bard to Broadway’s JuMP Program and the choreographer/co-director for TMT. She has an advanced diploma from Sheridan Institute for Music Theatre Performance. She also teaches Musical Theatre at Innovate Dance Arts in Parksville. She has participated in a number of Bard to Broadway shows and is enjoying her first summer co-choreographing their musical, A… My Name Will Always Be Alice.

Program Schedule

Classes run from 9am – 3pm daily, at the Village Theatre in Qualicum Beach. Participants are responsible for their own noon meal (a packed lunch is recommended). Comfortable clothes and shoes should be worn.
